A whole lot of colour (and a new journal page)

Update: The journal page in this post is no longer available for download. For a selection of free, printable journal pages, please visit my Printable Journal Pages collection.

~~~
I've decided to take a new approach with the ever-evolving fill-in-the-blanks journal experiment.  First of all, I'm going to try blogging them differently.  Instead of photographing each page, I'm going to display the graphic version.  I was never quite happy with the way the photos were turning out and I'd like to try adding a little colour to the blog.
I've also been fiddling with my blog template and adding a whole lot of colour there too.  This is a huge departure for me and a little scary, actually.  Usually, I prefer muted everything -- in colour choice as well as daily life -- but that's just not working for me anymore.  I want colour, dammit.  I need it.
Finally, I'm going to try to pace myself with journal posts.  From now on, I'll only be posting one or two (maybe three) pages a week.  Summer is well under way and the kiddies and I have things to do, places to go and people to see.  We're a regular Dr. Seuss menagerie!
Now, on to today's page, which includes the usual variation on a conventional to-do list . . .
and a lightning round that will take you places . . .
The full page looks like this . . .
and the black and white version is available here.  I've also created a pdf with the border you see above.  It's here.  Let me know what you think!
Edited to add:  If you'd like to add a splash of colour of your own, download the page with its border, but without colour here.
    Good for you for venturing outside of your usual muted safe zone. I find that colour can be healing and invigorating!
  2. It's great to have your feedback, Liberty. Thanks!
    As soon as I posted the new colours, I started having second thoughts. But I think I'll stick with it for awhile. It feels great to try something new!
