A few peeks at this week's page . . .

Don't bring me anything but trouble.  I am in love with this quote.

One last peek.  This week's to-do list with a nod to that pesky ticking clock . . .

The downloads for today's page are here (border-free) and here (borderful and colour-free) and here (borderful and colourful).

Just a wee update too . . .

I've encountered a few health issues over the past several months that will probably end up being quite manageable, but which are affecting my energy levels these days.  I've been stressing about posting on some sort of regular schedule, but I just can't do it right now.  So all of this is simply to say that I probably won't be posting all that often for the next while, but that in no way means that I am giving up on our journal pages.  I'll still be posting them as often as I can.

Happy weekend, friends!

  4. Thank you for the new journal page! I'm sorry you're having to deal with health problems. I've learned recently that the cause of so many issues with health is that our healthcare systems treat the symptoms and not the cause. Most often, the cause is nutrition (and so much of what's out there that claims to be good, isn't). I'm trying to be better about making sure only good, natural foods are going in, and avoiding processed and refined items.

Anyway, I hope you feel better and that you're educating yourself to be the healthiest you can be! *hugs*

  7. Thank you for another lovely journal page.
On your next one, you might put really big at the top: Take Care of Me.
I have lupus and know what it's like to juggle health issues with fun stuff and work alike. Take care of yourself, first. The rest will all fall into place the way it needs to do, and we'll still be here, enjoying what you've already so generously given, when you're able to come back. Huge hugs.

  9. Dear Christie,
I'm so glad you are going to take some time for yourself! I can't speak for anyone else but for me, it doesn't matter one bit if there's a specific posting schedule for your pages! I love them whenever they happen. If you take ages off I may miss the pages *but* I will be happy knowing you are doing what is right for you! I would never want you to do anything else :)
I totally agree with what Lisa said above - your loyal followers will still be here.
And Chris' idea is awesome! it would be very neat to see a self-care themed page some day (♥but only if/when it feels right for you♥).
Thinking of you and hoping for less stress and more energy to come your way
    ~♥~

  11. I too hope that your health issues are ones that don't cause you too much pain or stress and get better (or seem better) soon. Haven't been by since the pet balloon post, so I enjoyed reading the last few to catch up and as usual had a mini epiphany in terms of what you wrote last time about "the swirl of time, circumstances, and choice." Take care, and thanks for the page. Oh, and your paintings look great. :)

  13. Another beautiful page and what a great reminder that time is fleeting and not miss any of life's moments. Thank you. Please know that I would rather you get well than post, and I will be here whenever you return. Take care of yourself first.

  20. I love your journal pages. Thank you for giving such an incredible gift. I sometimes share them with my students. Students who couldn't write a complete sentence if given a blank sheet of paper are inspired to write on your beautiful creations. Thanks----and feel better!
