New Birthday-themed journal page

Guess what?

I made you a cake!

Sort of.

It would be more accurate to say that I've made you a new birthday-themed journal page in which cake features prominently.

In any event, the end result looks a little something like this:

Not sure what prompted today's page.  The idea has been percolating for days and, as it also simultaneously turns out, I've been needing a little pick-me-up, a little whimsy to balance the scales against the weight of dreary daily challenges.  When I sat down at the computer, this is what emerged.  Which made me feel a whole lot better, actually.  I'm pretty sure it has something to do with living life in colour.  Which is always a good idea.

If you'd like a whimsical confection of a journal page to have on hand when your birthday arrives, you'll find it here (colour-free) and here (colourful).

I sense there are a few more theme-type pages on the horizon.  Most likely, some simple note pages next, and then who knows?

hugs,
Christie

  2. I have a question -- I adore your journal pages, and have downloaded all the colored ones. But, now that I'm getting into art journaling, I think it might be fun to color my own. That being said, is it possible for you to group your past pages into a single downloadable file, rather than having to download each page separately? I know nothing about creating these, so have no idea how much time that would take. Just a suggestion. If not, no biggie -- I can find the link to the download page and get busy! LOL! Thanks for all you do -- it is so greatly appreciated!

    1. Hi Kate! Such a tough question. I really appreciate that you've taken the time to download one set already and I am grateful for your support and kind words. I hope you won't mind jumping over to my Frequently Asked Questions page, which you can link to from my sidebar. I do try to answer that question as best I can at the very end. Best wishes in your journaling. :)

  11. Christie,
I got my mini book today and it far surpassed what I expected (and I did have high expectations!.. though I do know your work is great). I loved loved loved the note card... and your business card. SO... I was wondering if you would sell those note cards on your Etsy site? I would like a pack of 12 to buy. I am sure that others would buy them too! I will go leave good feedback on Etsy for you right now! Have a great day!
