First sick day

Poor little puddin'.  It's only her third full day of school.  Seems a little early to me, but such is the life of a new kindergartner.

Looks like we'll be taking it a little easier than planned this weekend.  Plenty of snuggling and kiddie crackers.

Hope your weekend is a good one, friends!

  2. Hugs We had three days of school last week, but we've taken this whole week off because of sickness. I look forward to starting again on Monday. I hope the illness leaves your home quickly.

  3. Hi Susan and Thia,

  4. thanks for stopping by my blog!
sorry to hear your little one has gotten a bug! my daughter is a kinder teacher, so I know how difficult the beginning of the school year can be. I was conducting a site visit Weds, and the custodian was being kept busy cleaning up after some children got sick in class.... urgh! I really didn't want to have to visit the class but it was all nice & tidy when the visiting team arrived!
enjoy your weekend... will enjoy having some much needed time to relax!

Absolutely LOVE your journal pages and I can't wait to print them out :) Any chance that there is a cover page coming in the future so that I can put it in the front of my journal?

  6. Hi Christine and Anonymous commenter!

Christine - Thanks so much! I always imagine that primary school teachers must have the best immune systems after being exposed year after year to sick kids!

Anonymous commenter - Thanks for stopping by. A cover! It's on my to-do list. I hope to get to it soon. Stay tuned. :)

  7. What a wonderful blog and I just completed downloading and printing all of the journal pages 1-46. I am so looking forward to filling them out and taking more time to read each one. Thank you so much for sharing this journal with us. I look forward to many more visits with you and your wonderful family.
Are these daily journal pages going to be an ongoing process? What a wonderful gift to give your readers and Yes, I look forward to a great cover to this journal or maybe you can leave up to each individual to create for their self.
I hope you will visit me at My Primitive Nest when you get a free moment. http://myprimitivenest.blogspot.com

  8. Christie,
Thank you so much for your permission last spring for me to use the pages with my 7th graders. They absolutely love them. Who would have guessed? They're keeping them in 3 prong folders so they'll have a nice little snapshot of their school year. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
