Doodle thinking

So I've been posting all sorts of wordy doodles recently.  I'm at a bit of a crossroads, contemplating inevitable change, and the doodling has offered a fun way to work out my issues; to think new thoughts and organize old ones.

Beyond the doodles, I find myself really paying attention to the world around me and looking forward to writing out the resulting reflections in distilled snippets.  Searching for perspective or humour, at least, in the uncertainty.

I've was thinking this morning, that I'd love to add an interactive element to the doodling.  What do you think?  A giveaway perhaps.  Doodled notes mailed out to parts unknown?

Sounds like fun.

  1. Have enjoyed your doodle a day this week. Makes me wish I'd worked harder on my penmanship eons ago. ;-)

That thing around here this month is me biking while kids are navigating elementary school. Not looking to race, but I would like to see at least one end of the bike trail (it's 45 miles long--I live in the middle :-)

My thoughts are with you as you evolve at your crossroads. Hugs!

  4. Love the idea of mailed doodles. I've been wanting to doodle a journal for my youngest daughter who is so much a "mine-me" and truly the daughter of my heart. I plan to give it to her when she goes off to college in 9 or so years.

  7. I love your doodles and writings. They inspire me to follow some of my own creative urges.
In the last few months our smalltown school has seen its share of stresses, from cancer, wildfire, theft, and more. I'd like to have one of your cards to share with a teacher who is standing tall in the fight of her life against cancer. She continues to smile, joke, and come to work inspire of major surgery and a grim forecast. Pick her, pick her!
